Start with your first card

Scott’s TCG Binder can support a large collection, but you do not need to configure everything at once.

Start by confirming the catalog is ready, add a card, and then explore the organization and tracking tools as your collection grows.

  1. Check the catalog. Scott’s TCG Binder uses a local Pokémon card catalog for browsing, identification, set information, and card artwork. Before scanning or importing cards, confirm the catalog is available.
  2. Add your first card. Open Scan or the appropriate Add workflow and capture or import a card.
  3. Review the result. Confirm the Pokémon, set, number, artwork, and printing before adding it to the collection.
  4. Open Collection. The confirmed card now appears in Collection, where you can review quantity and other supported collection details.
  5. Explore the set. Open the card’s set to see how the card fits into the complete checklist and which cards are still missing.
  6. Add collection organization. As the collection grows, use storage locations, condition information, notes, favorites, or other supported fields to make the inventory useful beyond a simple card count.
  7. Explore Analytics. Use Analytics once enough cards have been added to begin seeing meaningful collection trends.
  8. Configure synchronization if desired. If multiple compatible devices will be used, review Cloud Sync before enabling synchronization.
  9. Create a backup. Create a recovery backup once the application contains meaningful collection data. Backup is separate from sync.
